To manage and protect information—which are corporate assets—efficiently, Daejoo Electronic Materials carried out information protection activities according to various systems, security regulations, etc. by appointing the executive-level information security officer of the Management Support Division and establishing the subsidiary Information System Team.

Information Security Management Policy

Daejoo Electronic Materials is operating an information security management system to protect its information assets from internal and external security threats and maintain relationships of trust with customers and partners. We strive to detect and improve on vulnerabilities in relation to external hacking and system tampering, among others, by conducting web system vulnerability inspection. In addition, for swift and efficient response to information security emergencies including customer information leakage and cyber hacking, we are strengthening security in relation to such risks.

Privacy Policy

Daejoo Electronic Materials discloses the Privacy Policy on the official website. The Policy specifies the personal information items collected, purpose of information use, details of information provision to a third party, etc. In case the Privacy Policy is modified such as addition or deletion of a clause according to the statutes, government policy, change of security technology, etc., the modification is announced in the notice section of the website.

Implementation and Operation of Information Protection

To operate information protection policies, Daejoo Electronic Materials implements physical and environmental security, operational security, electronic financial transaction security management, and information protection measures during IT adoption, development, and maintenance. Additionally, we has established and is operating a systematic record-keeping system to demonstrate that it has fulfilled its duty of care.

Information Protection Activities

Information Protection Pledge by Employees

Daejoo Electronic Materials collects information protection pledge from new employees. We also collect the pledge annually through an online channel from all employees in order to remind them of the details of the pledge and enhance their security awareness.

Simulation for Malicious Email Prevention

Daejoo Electronic Materials conducts malicious email response training once a year to prevent security accidents and enhance employees’ information security awareness. In 2023, we conducted the training customized to our circumstances for the purpose of preventing virus infection by malicious emails and personal data leakage.

Illegal Software Inspection

Daejoo Electronic Materials conducts illegal software inspections annually in order to prevent external information leak and check if the software products used comply with license conditions and legal requirements. Through this activity, we strive to reduce legal risks, effectively manage our software assets, and prevent security and performance issues.

Privacy Violation

At Daejoo Electronic Materials, no case of privacy violation such as data leakage, theft, or loss occurred in the past three years. In addition, there have been no complaints raised by external organizations.

Information Security Goal of 2024

In 2024, Daejoo Electronic Materials aims to build an information security management system based on the previously established security platform and improve the old physical infrastructure, thereby establishing an integrated security management system covering physical and personnel security as well as information security. We will further strengthen our security competency by creating more powerful and efficient information security environment.
